Zoé’s Paradise is not a typical hotel. It is a small, carefully created place by Lake Toba where guests slow down, breathe deeper and reconnect with what truly matters.
Founded in 2017 by Mama Zoé, a Swiss founder, together with her Indonesian husband, a native Batak from Lake Toba, this is a true family place.
Everything here feels calm, natural and real. Space instead of rush. Silence instead of noise. A quiet sense of arrival that many guests have not felt in a long time. We are one of the very few smaller hotels in the area that offer this level of quality, space and personal service, which creates a warm and very personal atmosphere.

The property unfolds across several levels, opening up ever-changing views of the lake, the tropical garden and the surrounding mountains. With every step, the perspective shifts slightly, creating a feeling of openness and flow.

Snacks, refreshing drinks and selected cocktails are served right by the water, in a setting that feels open, calm and naturally inviting.

Tropical Garden & Direct Lake Access
A lush tropical garden surrounds the property, filled with blooming flowers, rich greenery and carefully maintained natural spaces. Bright colors, soft fragrances and the gentle movement of leaves create a calm and living atmosphere throughout the day. Frangipani, hibiscus and other tropical plants bring warmth and life into every corner. Small paths and quiet seating areas invite you to slow down, sit for a moment and simply be present.
The garden opens directly to the calm waters of Lake Toba. Swim in the lake, refresh in the pool or move between water and garden in your own natural rhythm.
