Position: Manager at Zoé's Paradise Waterfront Hotel
Location: Samosir Island, Lake Toba, Sumut, Indonesia.
Zoé's Paradise Waterfront Hotel is a charming 17-room boutique hotel located directly on Lake Toba, offering a picturesque setting with breathtaking nature and a relaxed atmosphere.
As a manager, you are responsible for the efficient operation and smooth running of the hotel.
Note: We don't need a Manager / supervisor who just wants to be the boss! We need you as a real support of the team. A personality who leads by example and appreciates the employees and therefore a common, pleasant interaction with each other is a matter of course.
"WE CAN DO IT!" is your natural basic attitude and you can inspire people with your charisma!
As our supervisor, you need all-round expertise in the international hotel industry and noticeable enthusiasm as well as a natural leadership talent based on mutual respect. If you are also someone who actively tackles things yourself, then this position is ideal for you!
Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Small talk with guests and provide excellent customer service

Fulfill individual guest needs and ensure a pleasant stay

Handle guest complaints and resolve issues

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and motivate hotel staff
-
Set work schedules and monitor performance
-
Foster a positive work environment and cooperative team spirit

Operations Management:

Monitor hotel activities, including check-in/check-out, room cleaning, and maintenance

Ensure compliance with hotel standards and policies
-
Manage reservations and room occupancy planning

Sales and Marketing:
-
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize hotel occupancy

Collaborate with travel agencies, tour operators, and online booking platforms

Promote the hotel through social media presence and other marketing channels

Financial Management:

Prepare budgets and monitor the hotel's financial performance

Control costs and expenses
-
Generate reports and analyze financial metrics

Requirements:
Very good written and spoken English as well as very good computer knowledge, experience in business administration and hotel management, marketing / social media etc. and knowledge of sustainability.

Solid education and experience in the hospitality industry or hotel management, preferably in a management / supervisory role

Knowledge of customer service and guest relations

Ability to lead, motivate and train a team

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in financial management and budgeting

Must: be able to drive a motorbike and if possible also a car
We offer you a versatile management position with varied tasks, a pleasant working atmosphere and a more relaxed pace of life on our island without the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Our hotel has only 17 rooms and is relatively stress-free for a professional to run.
Salary: up to 12 Million possible. 7 Million basic plus win bonus. This mean, if you achieve the set goals, then you can earn up to 12 million or more. It depends on your skills (know how) and activities.
